A small preschool.
Big adventures.

What we have been up to

We visited Radio Kraków and the Wisła stadium.

Every one of these photos is an ordinary day at Zaczarowany Domek. Your child could have been in all of them.

What we offer

Learning that looks like play.

We deliver the full national curriculum. Children simply do not notice they are learning, because they do it with their hands, their feet and every sense at once.

Preschool education

The full national curriculum, with methods matched to each child’s age and ability.

English

Not a separate lesson, but a natural part of everyday activities.

Art and crafts

We paint, model, cut, build and experiment with all sorts of materials.

Physical activity

A daily dose of movement — indoors, in the garden and in the park round the corner.

Sensory play

Touch, smell, hearing, sight and movement. You learn the world with your whole body.

Music and dance

We sing, dance, keep rhythm and get to know instruments.

Experiments

Because we learn best when we can see it, touch it and check it ourselves.

Judo

Optional classes: fitness, coordination, balance and confidence.

Sports classes

Optional classes: movement and exercise matched to what children can do.

What matters to us

Five things we look at every day.

Safety

One group, the same faces, a predictable rhythm to the day and clear rules.

Individual approach

Every child is different. We learn their needs, interests and abilities.

Independence

We help children become self-reliant and believe in what they can do.

Relationships

We teach cooperation, empathy, respect and helping one another.

Curiosity

We encourage questions, experiments and finding things out first-hand.

Clean air

Kraków has smog. We have an air purifier.

Through the heating season the air inside the preschool is filtered. The purifier was granted to us by the Marshal of the Małopolska Region under the EU LIFE programme „Małopolska in a healthy atmosphere".

Our adventures

We do not teach about the world. We go and find it.

At Zaczarowany Domek we regularly leave the classroom. Workshops, trips, and meetings with people and animals you will not find in a textbook.

  • Travels around the world
  • Remarkable animals
  • Visits to the fire station
  • The life of bees
  • Working farms
  • Theatre performances
  • Cooking from scratch
  • Science experiments
  • Nature up close

For parents

Everything on your phone. No notes pinned in the cloakroom.

Communication and meals work the way they should — through apps you can handle on the tram.

Communication

Attendance, photos from the day, announcements, messages to teachers and event information — all in one app on your phone.
